teacher calls for protection from false accusations of sexual abuse

The article below appearing in The Tribune of 19th October is penned by a teacher who apparently has been exonerated from charges of sexual abuse of one of his pupils. He is asking that lie detectors be used routinely if a child levels charges. His rationale is that some children lie and some are manipulated by adults for ulterior motives, Sadly this is reverting to victim blaming . Most children who report sexual misconduct are telling the truth. The article is at the bottom of page 5 Link below

The report in The Tribune of 24th October, only a few days after the article above reveals that another teacher faces charges of sexual impropriety. It wil lbe interesting to see the outcome
